What voters need to know

Voters in Erewash are being reminded of what they need to know to have their say in the Erewash Borough Council and parish elections, which are now just days away on Thursday 2 May.

Polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm. You should have received a card with details of your local polling station. If not, you can search for your polling station via a link from the home page of the council’s website www.erewash.gov.uk (under Find It) or call the Erewash election hotline on 0115 907 1190 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
When voting at a polling station, it is helpful to take your poll card with you. But if you don’t have it, don’t let that stop you – you can still vote as long as you are registered.
Polling station staff will give you ballot papers for the Erewash Borough Council election. In some areas, you will also receive a second ballot paper for your local Parish Council election.
If you applied for a postal vote, it needs to be completed and returned in the envelope provided. If you leave it too late to post back, you can drop it off at any polling station within Erewash or at either Long Eaton or Ilkeston Town Hall.
